Today is a sad day for gamers. Nintendo has decided to end production of its NES classic game system. This is very sad news for anyone who grew up playing the original Nintendo NES during the 1980’s and 1990’s. For many of us the NES Classic is a reminder of our childhood and something we love to play from time to time.

I grew up playing this system in the 90’s and still love to play it to this day. Why? You might ask. Part of it is the nostalgia of playing an old gaming console, another part of it is just remembering the games of old that would piss you off to no end. I have always been a fan of the Mega Man series and the best ones have always been on the original Nintendo NES.

For a system that brings us much joy its crazy to see that now on Amazon they are going for over $200 when it had an original MSRP of around $60. The death of the NES Classic seems to finally be here and we will all remember.

Its sad to see that its being discontinued world wide but maybe Nintendo will surprise us and release a new version!
