Pasadena ISD approves fidget toys for school use!
Here is an interesting twist! I have recently heard from members of Pasadena I.S.D. in Texas that they are approving fidget toys for people with autism and A.D.H.D.
This is a great step forward for people who have problems in class. I’m happy to see a school district moving in this direction. What is the catch? You have to be apart of the 504 program that helps people with learning disabilities. I think its a good thing it is exclusive to this program so they don’t become a distraction to everyone. While we know what can prove helpful to people with ADHD, the same thing can be a distraction for people who are not.
